Do you want to do morning yoga at the beach, go surfing in the afternoon, and finish the day doing sunset yoga at a rooftop terrace with an ocean view? And then do the same thing again on the next day for a week?

Join us in our upcoming 8-day retreat in the beautiful town of Agadir, Morocco where you will do yoga, surf, eat, sleep and repeat while also experiencing other activities on the side such as sightseeing, visiting the waterfall, touring around other cities nearby, going on horseback / camel riding at the beach, etc.

Your daily yoga practice will be guided by 2 experienced yoga teachers Sintija and Sean who place high importance on teaching and guiding you to improve your yoga practice. At the same time, each day you will learn how to surf with a professional instructor and have fun in the sun catching the waves. With yoga and surfing combined, we will work on Strength, Flexibility & Balance as well as being fully immersed and connected with the ocean (Mother Nature), the wonderful Moroccan culture and its exquisite cuisine.

  • 6 days of 1 hour morning yoga at the beach and 1 hour sunset yoga at the rooftop terrace

  • 6 days of surfing lessons with professional surf instructor (2hrs of coaching and 2hrs of self practice under the care of the instructor)

  • Daily transport to the best surf spots according to the surf conditions

  • Several cultural activities in between (ex. visiting nearby towns, sightseeing, camel / horseback riding, visiting the waterfall)

Below is the schedule that we will have for this retreat which may slightly change based on the weather, logistics and other unforseenable events.

DAY 1: Arrive in Marrakesh in the morning and get transported directly to Agadir.

DAY 2-7: Yoga, surf, eat, sleep and then repeat (plus additional activies)

DAY 8: Leave early in the morning at 4:00 from Agadir to Marrakesh (about 3 hour drive) and catch our plane at 9:00

Accommodation & Food

Our main destination is Agadir. Most of us will arrive from Marrakesh where we will get picked up and transported directly to our accomodation there in Agadir.

Meet Your Yoga Teachers

Sintija Zilite


Sintija is a certified yoga teacher from YOGABODY who began her training last September 2017. Since then she’s been actively teaching group and private classes in studios, at the beach, on a rooftop terrace and at the park in Barcelona as well as in Latvia where she’s originally from.

At age14, curiosity brought her to discover her first yoga class and immediately it sparked a deep interest in her to learn more about it. With consistent and deeper practice, yoga has been a tremendous help for Sintija physically as well as mentally, providing better sleep, breathing, coping with stress, being calm and more clear on her decisions. Yoga became more than just a workout but a lifestyle.

Sintija has also decided to study physiotherapy this year to further expand her understanding and knowledge of yoga in and around anatomy, mobility, movements, posture adjustments and generally how the human body works. As a yoga teacher, the best feeling she gets is seeing her students grow in their yoga practice. She says people can be scared to try something different and challenging, and so they just need a little push and be guided. She aspires to travelling, teaching and sharing the same feeling and experience she has with yoga to others around the world.


Sean Palit


Sean started his yoga journey when he joined YOGABODY 6 years ago as a marketer. At that time, he thought yoga was only for the already flexible people and it didn't seem too challenging enough. Of course, he was far from the truth on this. You don’t need to do the splits or put your legs over your head to show that you’re good at yoga. And yes, yoga is very challenging to the point where you will sweat and get a full on workout for your body as well as for your mind. He learned that yoga is all about progressing at your own pace without any judgement towards yourself. Soon after experiencing the benefits of yoga, Sean became fully dedicated in incorporating yoga to his busy life. 

Never had he imagined that yoga would have transformed his way of life. So he decided to become a yoga teacher to share these benefits and supporting others on their personal development through yoga. Sean has been teaching yoga in his previous yoga retreat, private classes as well as at YOGABODY studios in Barcelona and finished his yoga teacher training at the end of 2018. His goal is to offer yoga retreats that are more than just for stretching, relaxation and meditation, but an experience where you are challenged physically and mentally while at the same time experiencing new cultures and adventures for personal growth.
