Excellent Sahara experience ... Aziz was an excellent host and speaks good English. He made sure we enjoyed our experience in the Sahara. We had a 4x4 take us out to the desert camp to enjoy the dunes at sunset. Good food produced by the local chef. We then had a camel tour the next day.
Desert Passions is not just a desert tour operator, it´s a bunch of passionate experts under the lead of Aziz who will guide you through a tailor made experience in the area around Erg Chigaga.
A dream came true ... Everything was just the way I had imagined it. Therefore I can only recommend to every fellow traveller to make a perfect choice and explore the desert with Aziz and his team.
The owner of this place saved my life (no exaggeration) and acted like it was the most natural thing in the world. Would totally trust and choose this place for my desert ... (Aziz) comes across as both modest and knowledgeable, is highly educated and the opposite of the ‘pushy’ type, and I would certainly choose to go to Erg Chegaga with him.
Reliable, professional, beyond the call of duty- they go out of their way to make us fill comfortable.
M’Hamid is full of fake guides and questionable tours. Desert Passions is the real deal — Great experience with Aziz, the owner. Forget trying to shop around... all the reputable places charge about the same amount. Desert Passions is small; you’ll get more attention and personalized service. Aziz went way above and beyond to make the experience unforgettable. The food was outstanding; the camp was beautiful; the staff were very friendly. 100% recommend!
Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful time in the desert with Aziz and his team. It was all very well planned and we really cant complain about anything. It was an unforgettable trip! Aziz was a very interesting and nice host who took good care of us. He also left us our privacy, which is important on a trip like this. The food we had during the trip was absolutely amazing!!! Best food we ate in Marroko in general!
Aziz taught us desert knowhow, such as how to find out North from the sand and the stones. His profound thinking character along with his education allowed us to have deep conversations about local history and development challenges (climate, water, environment protection and tourism development etc.) in the area for the Nomads, Arab and Berber people.
